60th Annual Conference of the Estonian National Museum
5.-7. May 2020 in Tartu, Estonia
According to the statistics Estonia is the country with the largest number of museums per capita. For example in medieval Tallinn you can find many museums (Tallinn City Museum, Estonian Museum of Applied Art and Design, Estonian Health Care Museum etc.). Also the Kumu Art Museum is worth to visit, while nearby in the old harbour area is the Seaplane Harbour – both museums have been recognised with numerous prizes. For 2018 a number of other museums are being renovated or opened – Estonian History Museum, also privately owned Arvo Pärt Centre and Vabamu Museum of Occupations and Freedom.
